Queretaro is a medium city of a million where you can find outlets like Walmart and Costco within a 20 minutes drive from home with no heavy traffic in sight. It is considered a very safe and family oriented city.

The weather is semi-desertic. It means it is ALWAYS stable, every day is sunny, cold at night (around 55), between 60 and 80 during the day, and goes down again. Super dry. No humidity or sticky or mold smell. It is better if you have a car.

We could provide one if needed (with an extra-fees), for short distance (meaning, staying in the city, not for traviling within Mexico.)However, very important to remember, even if this is Mexico, there is no beach around Queretaro, the nearest beach command a five hour drive; Queretaro doesn't offer a tropical weather.
